Looking for rare records?
You may navigate the different genres we stock by using the menu to the left of the page. We aim to bring you the best condition rare and collectable records that we can. Most stock will fall into the Near Mint or Excellent grades. However, we will sometimes offer records below a grading of excellent. This will mainly be in genres such as Freakbeat where ex or better copies very rarely surface for sale and vg copies are still sought after. Our grading is very strict and we aim to ship records out within two working days of payment being received. Rest assured that we guarantee all of our stock with a no quibble money back guarantee. Like most dealers in rare records we do trade on ebay. However, all records will be offered here before being listed on ebay. You can join our mailing list. About Whiplash Records
Whiplash Records was first established in 1989. We originally traded from a unit in the Quiggins centre in Liverpool and sold new releases. Before long we started to trade in second hand vinyl as well and eventually hit the Record Fair circuit in the UK a couple of years later. During the week we attended University Markets and traded by mail order. Eventually we started to trade online where we now do most of our business.
